Registration Process

Registration Process Information

Q How do I submit a change after I've completed my registration?
A Changes can be submitted on-line any time before the cut-off date (June 30, 2006). There will be no changes after June 30th. Changes received after the cut-off date will not be accommodated. You may request to be added to a different wait list after August 1st. You will need to register on-line for the lot(s) you wish to add. Late registration does not affect priority registration.

Q Can I make as many changes as I want during the open web registration period?
A Yes - you may change your information at any time on-line during the open registration period. (April 15 through June 30, 2006). There is no charge for changes you make on your registration on line during the open registration period. We only keep your latest registration choices.

Q Is there any advantage to registering earlier rather than later during the open web registration period?
A No. Registration and assignment of permits will be done based on the classification priorities outlined in the Permit Assignment section.

Q How do I cancel my application after the registration period is over? Is there a penalty for late cancellations?
A
  • Send email to info.parking@parking.gatech.edu with your GTID and which lot choices you want to cancel by July 3, 2006. There is no penalty for cancellations.

    Q Am I required to apply via the web if I am eligible?
    A YES. All students are required to register via the web. Faculty and Staff who choose to not take advantage of payroll reduction and elect to pay with check or credit card will register online and be billed when assignments are made. Specific deadlines for payment will be included in the confirmation email. Permits not paid for by those deadlines will be placed back in inventory to be resold to persons on the waiting lists.

    Q If I am in a non-affiliated status can I register online?
    A YES. If you are in a non-affiliated status with GA Tech you must supply the Parking Office, via email at info.parking@parking.gatech.edu, with your full name, GTID# (found on BuzzCard), drivers license and date of birth, email address and campus address. This information will be entered into the parking systems database and you will be able to log on and register the following day.
