What if I'm currently registered for 2+ vehicles? It seems unfair that I can only renew my registration for only one of those vehicles. |
 |
The one-person one-permit policy was adopted because some
individuals were registering vehicles for persons who were not eligible for
a permit. This is unfair to those who are eligible but unable to get a permit
because the lot is sold out. Multiple vehicles can be registered on the same permit, however
only the primary vehicle is shown during registration. Any previous vehicle history
is automatically updated to the new permit. Any new vehicle information should be
provided to the parking office. |

I work in multiple buildings on campus or my duties require that I have to travel to several different locations on campus in the course of a normal business day. It seems unfair that I am restricted to only one permit. Can't I be allowed an exception to this rule? |
 |
NO.Due to the very limited amount of space on campus for parking, our policy does not allow "dual access". Employees and students are encouraged to use the Stinger Shuttle and Tech Trolley system for circulating within the campus to enhance pedestrian safety, reduce traffic, parking problems, and vehicle emissions.
If your travel is business related, your department should apply for an Official Business Permit. |
