Will there be any changes to parking
zones or area designations? |

Yes
The E42 lot will be eliminated due to construction of the ILRC. All E42 permits will
be converted to ER52, E40, or W02 permits. The E62 lot has been eliminated due to construction of the new girl's softball field.

What kind of permits will be issued this year? |

What if I want an adhesive permit? |
|
Any time after you receive your 2008-2009 permit you may stop in at
the Parking Office and we will swap your hang tag for an adhesive. |

What is an EW Permit - Evening Weekend Permit? |
|
An Evening Weekend Permit is valid on campus after 5:00 pm and before
8:00 am Monday - Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. It is not valid
in residential areas. EW permits are always available at the parking
office during the year there is no wait list for EW permits.
Because EW permits are always available and they are NOT
considered when determining registration priority - owning an EW permit
does not elevate your priority to that of a permit owner. |

I will only need my permit for half the year, can I get a refund? |
|
Permits are refundable until March 31, 2009. Permits are prorated on a
weekly basis. The refund price is always 10.00 less than the current
permit price. Refunds are handled at the Parking Office. |

I purchased a summer permit in May why can't I renew it? |
|
Parking uses March 31, 2006 to determine
permit ownership. Summer Permits are NOT used when determining
registration priority. |

How do I purchase a summer permit? |
|
Summer permits are available at the Parking Office beginning May 5,
2008 - many lots become available in the summer. There is no application to
fill out or list to get on. |

are subject to GT Athletic Association Parking Restriction for Football
and Basketball? |
|
Football: E40, E41, E44 (Research Drive and 4th Street areas, and Fowler Street west of Peters Deck), E45, E46, E47, E48, E49, E50, E63, E64, E65, ER51 (Techwood Drive from North Avenue to 4th Street, Brittain Drive, both sides of Fowler Street from 4th Street to 8th Street), ER52, W01 (Ferst Drive between Cherry Street and Visitor Parking Area 2), W02, W03, W04, W21, W24, and Cherry Street (meters) between North Avenue and Ferst Drive.
