Area and Street Parking Designations

Off-street parking areas (lots) are designated by appropriate signs at the entrances(s) of each area and parking spaces are designated by pavement markings.

STREET (CURBSIDE) DESIGNATIONS

On-street parking spaces are restricted by signs and markings. A Georgia Tech parking permit is required for all vehicles belonging to faculty, staff, students, and auxiliary personnel of the Institute while parked in non-metered spaces. Metered spaces will be strictly enforced during the hours of restriction or as posted. Hours of enforcement and rates are posted inside every Georgia Tech parking meter.

OUT OF AREA

If your assigned parking area is full or if your parking gate access card doesn't work, you are allowed to park in any legal space adjacent to your normally assigned lot. In order to take advantage of this benefit, you must request an "Out of Area Reference Number" immediately.
