Penalties and FinesGeorgia Tech parking enforcement and campus police officers will issue Georgia Institute of Technology parking citations (tickets) for violations of motor vehicle registration, parking regulations, and other violation as noted in the following section:
Falsification of Information on the Registration Application - Audits & Verification
All information provided on the registration application is subject to verification through random audits and comparison to various campus databases, including the registrar's office and the various state license records. When audited, individual parking applicants are required to provide written documentation verifying all information indicated on the registration application. If any information is shown to be falsified, the person's parking privileges may be revoked for up to two years. Appeal of any decision resulting in the suspension of parking privileges will be conducted through the appropriate Appeals Board. Employee incidents will be referred to the employee's supervisor and student cases will be referred to the Dean of Students for further disciplinary action.
